FOUR DAYS:
ATHENS / MYCENAE / EPIDAU- RUS / OLYMPIA / DELPHI / KALAMBAKA / METEORA:

Day 1: Athens / Corinth / Mycenae / Epidaurus / Olympia
Depart Athens in the morning driving to Corinth. We see the Corinthian Canal and we continue to Mycenae. We visit the Lion's Gate, the Royal Palace and the tomb of Agamem- non. After lunch we visit the pictur- esque city of Nauplion, the first cap- ital of Greece and the Theater of Epidaurus, famous for its acoustics. In the afternoon depart for Olympia, the birth place of the Olympic Games, for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Olympia / Delphi
We visit the archaeological site with the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the Museum. We depart via Patras, (short stop), to Rion, cross the Corinthian Bay, by the new bridge, to  Antirion. Pass by

the city of Naupaktos and from there, along the coastal road, to Delphi known as the navel of the world.
Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

Day 3: Delphi / Kalambaka
We visit the archaeological site, the Sanctuary of Apollo, the theater, the Treasury of Athenians and the Museum with
the famous bronze Charioteer. In the afternoon depart through Central Greece and the cities of Lamia and Trikala to
Kalambaka, a small town built at the foot of the majestic rocks and crowned by the Meteora monasteries. Dinner
and overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 4: Kalambaka / Meteora / Athens
In the morning we drive to Meteora to visit the cliff top Byzantine Monasteries, (one of the most amazing places in
the world) and enjoy the breathtaking view. We return, early in the evening, to the hotel in Athens, passing by the
heroic monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae
