Day 1: Arrive Cairo
Upon arrival at the Cairo airport, you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure to explore this fascinating city.
Day 2: Cairo-Full Day Tour Including Lunch
Today you see the Three Great Pyramids and the magnificent Sphinx. Try a camel ride before you stop for
lunch. After lunch you visit the Egyptian Museum.
5 DAY NILE CRUISE

Day 3: Cairo-Luxor/Embarkation/Cruising
Early morning transfer to the Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at the
Luxor airport you will be met and transferred to the cruise ship.

After lunch you visit the Avenue of the Sphinxes and the imposing Temple of Luxor,
as well as the famed Karnak Temple-Complex. Dinner and Overnight on board the ship.
Day 4: Cruising-Luxor/Esna/Edfu
In Luxor, the morning visit includes the famed Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el
Bahari and the 70 foot tall, Colossi of Memnon. The ship sails to Edfu after crossing the Esna lock. Dinner and
Overnight on board the ship in Edfu.
Day 5: Cruising- Edfu/Kom-Ombo/Aswan
In the morning you will visit the Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all the large temples. Return to the
cruise ship sailing to Kom-Ombo. In the afternoon visit the Greco-Roman Temple, dedicated to Horus. Arrive in
Aswan for Dinner and Overnight, on board the ship.
Day 6: Cruising-Aswan
In Aswan, the morning visit includes the Aswan High Dam and the unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut.
In the afternoon you sail on a typical Egyptian “felucca” passing Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener’s Botanical
Garden and the Aga Khan Mausoleum. Return to the cruise ship for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 7: Aswan-Disembarkation/Cairo/Pyramids Sound & Light Show
In the morning disembarkation and transfer to the Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at the
Cairo airport you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Tonight experience the Sound & Light Show at the
Pyramids, (optional).
(Optional visit to the Abu Simbel Temple, by plane, is highly recommended).
Day 8: Cairo-Departure
Free time until you are transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
